Where to find Mantikor
Mantikor keeps to Primordial Vale and never leaves it. It is one of 84 species on that ground, and one of only 54 of them sharing its element.
How to catch Mantikor
Mantikor sits in the rare band with 171 others, needs a Precision ball at minimum, and opens at 15%, which leaves 197 of the 608 harder to land than this one. The freeze on the first throw makes it a race: Primordial Vale holds 84 species, so the area is rarely empty when you find one.
Supply
250 Mantikor will exist, ever. The server enforces that at the moment of capture, under a row lock, so two players cannot slip past the cap at the same instant.
In a fight
As one of 54 celestial types sharing Primordial Vale, it hits Celestial hard. Stamina leads at 105, but only by 7 over the next attribute, so the build is closer to balanced than to specialised.

Questions
Where do I find Mantikor in NOKEMON?
Primordial Vale. Other players can attack you there, and dying leaves a tombstone anyone can open.
How do I catch Mantikor?
Throw a Precision ball or better and win the timing bar. The base rate is 15% and your accuracy moves it, but the ball is spent whether you land the catch or not, so carry more than you think you need.
Is Mantikor rare?
Yes. The cap is 250, enforced at the instant of capture, and nothing refills it: when it fills, the only way to own one is to buy it from a player.
What are the shiny odds on Mantikor?
About 1 in 167 per capture. Nothing improves it: no ball, no streak, no item and no amount of waiting. The only lever you have is how many you throw at.
