Velnoir
WaterRarewater only
Where to find Velnoir
Velnoir never sets foot on land. The only water it surfaces in is The Shores, shared with 124 other species, and the only way to bring one up is a rod you forged yourself. Walk the shoreline until the water moves.
How to catch Velnoir
Velnoir sits in the rare band with 171 others, needs a Precision ball at minimum, and opens at 10%, which leaves 126 of the 608 harder to land than this one. The freeze on the first throw makes it a race: The Shores holds 125 species, so the area is rarely empty when you find one.
Supply
145 Velnoir will exist, ever. The server enforces that at the moment of capture, under a row lock, so two players cannot slip past the cap at the same instant.
In a fight
As one of 116 water types sharing The Shores, it hits Fire hard and loses ground to Nature, Thunder, Celestial, which is what will be thrown at it. Stamina leads at 105, but only by 7 over the next attribute, so the build is closer to balanced than to specialised.

Questions
Where do I find Velnoir in NOKEMON?
The Shores. It never comes on land, so you need a forged rod rather than a ball. The door is gated: you need average skill level 20 to get in.
How do I catch Velnoir?
Throw a Precision ball or better and win the timing bar. The base rate is 10% and your accuracy moves it, but the ball is spent whether you land the catch or not, so carry more than you think you need.
Is Velnoir rare?
Yes. The cap is 145, enforced at the instant of capture, and nothing refills it: when it fills, the only way to own one is to buy it from a player.
What are the shiny odds on Velnoir?
About 1 in 200 per capture. Nothing improves it: no ball, no streak, no item and no amount of waiting. The only lever you have is how many you throw at.
